 The Core Plot

The film follows Mother Mary, a world-famous pop icon trying to mount a massive career comeback after suffering a horrific on-stage accident. Overwhelmed and seeking a sense of identity, she flees to the English countryside to reconnect with her estranged former lover and costume designer, Sam Anselm.

As they work together in a converted barn workshop to design a crucial dress for the show, old resentments boil over regarding credit and inclusion in Mary’s inner circle.
