Bloodhounds (Season 1)

In the shadows of a post-pandemic Seoul, two young boxers, Gun-woo (Woo Do-hwan) and Woo-jin (Lee Sang-yi), find their lives entwined after a fierce competition in the ring. The narrative explores the “dark realities” of predatory lending when Gun-woo’s mother falls victim to the “not nice” machinations of Smile Capital, a ruthless loan shark operation led by the villainous Myeong-gil (Park Sung-woong). Driven by a “burning ambition” to protect the innocent, the two athletes trade their gloves for a visceral battle on the streets, becoming “bloodhounds” for a legendary retired moneylender known as President Choi (Huh Joon-ho).
