The Lafleur Legacy Set against the vibrant yet unforgiving backdrop of Martinique, Bandi tells the visceral story of the Lafleur family. After the sudden and unexpected death of their matriarch, Marilyn, eleven orphaned siblings ranging from ages 7 to 23 are left to navigate a world that threatens to tear them apart. The narrative explores the “dark realities” of survival and the “spiritual cost of power” as the eldest siblings, Kingsley (Rodney Dijon) and Kylian (Djody Grimeau), clash over how to protect their own. While Kingsley believes in hard work and sacrifice, 16-year-old Kylian has already begun building a “not nice” reputation as an up-and-coming drug kingpin under the alias Milord.
