Mortal Kombat II Summary

The world is on the brink of absolute conquest as the legendary “Mortal Kombat tournament” finally begins. Following the events of the previous conflict, Earthrealm’s champions are pushed to their limits to prevent a tenth consecutive loss that would allow the Outworld to invade and conquer Earth. The “dark realities” of the NetherRealm become a central focus as the heroes realize that death is no longer a permanent state for their adversaries. The stakes have never been higher, with the “spiritual cost of power” looming over every duel as Lord Raiden (Tadanobu Asano) recruits new blood to stand against the crushing might of the emperor.
