Alone in a foreign country, Alice’s frantic search pulls her into a maze of lies, shifting identities, and quiet threats lurking just beneath the surface. The deeper she digs, the more unsettling the truth becomes: the man she loved may never have truly existed.

As authorities doubt her story and strangers seem to know more than they should, Alice uncovers fragments of a hidden life tied to something far more dangerous than she ever imagined.
