The story follows Danny, a “timid 9-year-old” whose world revolves around his best friend and “beloved family dog, Charlie.” Their quiet life is turned upside down when Charlie “gets abducted by aliens,” only to be returned to Earth with a set of incredible “superpowers.” While Danny is used to a dog that is a “good boy… most of the time,” he must now adjust to a pet that can fly, move at super speeds, or display incredible strength. Together, this unlikely duo must learn to navigate Charlie’s new abilities while keeping them a secret from the rest of the world.
