Based on the celebrated novel Pavane for a Dead Princess by Park Min-gyu, Pavane follows the lives of three “outsiders” working at a glittering department store. Mi-jeong, a reserved woman who hides from the world’s judgment, finds herself drawn to the basement’s shadows. There, she meets Gyeong-rok, a former dancer struggling with the weight of reality, and Yo-han, a free-spirited soul who masks his own loneliness with music and humor.
