In Odyssey, the “dream home” becomes a nightmare box. Natasha Flynn discovers that the sleek, soundproof walls of her luxury listings—features she once used to pitch “privacy and tranquility” to the elite—are equally effective at muffling the screams of a kidnapping victim. The film is a strobe-lit panic attack, charting Natasha’s transition from a predator of the housing market to the prey of a debt-collection syndicate. As her withdrawal symptoms collide with the escalating violence of the London streets, Natasha realizes that the “property ladder” she’s been climbing is actually a gallows, and the only way off is to burn the whole house down.
